Age of Hope: The current Age of Arden. Denoted AH in the reckoning of years. The Age of  Hope is marked from the founding of Caratha by the Mighty Champion in the year 1 AH, followed shortly thereafter by the founding of the other twelve Eleven Kingdoms. Yes, that makes thirteen kingdoms.

The Age of Hope followed the thoroughly unpleasant Age of Despair. While the Age of Hope has been marred by wars, famines, plagues, disasters, and rampant villainy it is still a great improvement over the previous age of non-stop demonic tyranny.
