Geography
Hilly
Malravia is bounded on the east by the River Volkus and the Incredibly Dark Forest. North is the Gaede Range and to the west and southwest, the River Crownbolt and the Lake of Crowns mark the bounds. Malravia is a rocky, hilly country with many steep cliffs, deep gorges and narrow valleys.
Near the center of the country is the Gathering Place, great bowl scooped from the top of a barren hilltop which serves as a neutral meeting place for the clans and tribes.
Climate
Chilly
The sky is overcast, the weather damp and cold, the land wreathed in grey mists.
People
Malravians are typically dusky-skinned, lean-limbed, dark of hair and eye. They worship the Grey God exclusively. There are seven major clans in Malravia, and a few smaller tribes, sub-tribes, and bands. The Raven clan is now extinct.
Economy
Nilly
Malravians live by hunting, herding sheep and cattle, and raiding their neighbors in Ganth and Haravia for goods and slaves.
Military
Screaming hordes of barbarians hopped up on mulka.
Malravians favor spears, bows, and clubs. Most wear armor of furs and skins or boiled leather.
Malravian raiding parties frequently strike into the settlements of Ganth along the River Crownbolt and the Lake of Crowns, or go west to harry the Haravians. Less often, a band will venture as far as western Orphalia. The eastern tribes often battle monsters from the Incredibly Dark Forest, while the northern tribes contend with fierce mountain giants.
