arcane master: The second highest rating that can be attained by a certified wizard. Generally the highest practical rating attained by most wizards after completing their apprenticeship and gaining further experience as a journeyman wizard. Few wizards ever attain the power, knowledge and experience required to attain the extremely rare highest rank of arcane grandmaster.
